Capminal - Cap Wallet Integration

Base URL

Required Environment Variables

To install this skill into an agent host — AgentOS, Claude Code, an SDK agent, a container — the host must expose this variable to the agent process before the skill runs. The skill declares it in frontmatter (

metadata.agentos.requires.env
), so a host that supports requirement gating will mark the skill Setup required until it is set.

API Key Resolution

CAP_API_KEY
is read from the environment only. This skill has no credentials file.

  1. Read the
    CAP_API_KEY
    environment variable.
  2. If it is unset or empty — stop. Do not read, create, or search for any credentials file, and do not ask the user to paste the key into the chat. Tell the user to set
    CAP_API_KEY
    in the agent host's environment (see Required Environment Variables in the

    skill) and restart the agent.

Rules:

  • NEVER write the key to a file, a shell command, a committed config, or anywhere it lands in shell history.
  • To confirm it is present without revealing it:

  • Revoke a key: revoke it at https://www.capminal.ai/settings -> API Key tab. Server-side revocation is the ONLY thing that invalidates a leaked key — unsetting the environment variable or deleting a local file does not.
  • Rotate: rotate periodically, and immediately if the value was ever echoed, logged, pasted into a chat, or committed. Rotating = issue a new key at Settings, update the environment variable, restart the agent, then revoke the old key.
  • Migrating from a credentials file: earlier versions of this skill stored the key in plaintext at
    $HOME/cap_credentials.json
    . If that file exists: copy the value into the

Pre-Action Checklist (applies to ALL write actions: Trade, Transfer, Deploy)

Before ANY action that moves tokens, ALWAYS:

  1. Check wallet balance — call Get Wallet Balance endpoint.
  2. Resolve token — if user gives a symbol (not address): check wallet
    data.tokens[].symbol
    first, then Common Addresses (Reference Tables), then call Resolve Tokens API.
  3. Resolve balance — if token not in wallet response, call Resolve Balance with the resolved address.
  4. Validate balance — if insufficient: list alternative tokens with enough

  5. Handle $ amounts — calculate

Order Type Disambiguation (CRITICAL — read before Swap/Limit/TWAP/DCA)

Four products — do not confuse them:

  • Swap (§4) — immediate market buy/sell, no conditions.
  • Limit Order (§9) — price-triggered ("at $X", "when price reaches/drops to"). Covers stop losses and stop buys too, via
    triggerCondition
    — there is no separate stop-order product.
  • DCA (§21) — a recurring schedule on a calendar cadence (hourly/daily/weekly), a fixed amount each run, no price condition, can be paused/resumed, runs open-ended (or until an end date / execution cap). Use for "dollar cost average", "keep buying", "buy $X every day/week".
  • TWAP (§12) — split a known total amount across a bounded window in fixed intervals, with price protection (
    allowedGain
    ), cannot be paused, finite. Use for "spread my X over Y", "sell all over 3 days".

Decision priority (first match wins):

  1. Explicit keyword: "twap" → TWAP; "dca"/"dollar cost average" → DCA; "limit order"/"stop loss"/"stop order"/"take profit" → Limit.
  2. Price condition ("at $X", "when it hits $X", "if it drops below $X", "if it breaks above $X") → Limit. Then pick

Burn Tokens

Triggers: burn, burn token, burn tokens, destroy tokens

Burning is a transfer to the standard burn address

(see Reference Tables). Follow the same Pre-Transfer flow, plus a two-message confirmation (REQUIRED):

  1. First message — ask only: "This will permanently burn {amount} {symbol}. Reply 'confirm' to proceed." Do NOT call the transfer endpoint in this turn.
  2. Wait for the user to send a separate, subsequent message with an explicit affirmative ("confirm", "yes", "proceed"). The original burn request does NOT count as confirmation.
  3. Only on that follow-up message: execute
    POST /api/orbs/transfer
    with the burn address.
