Instagram

Feed Posts:

  • Aspect: 4:5 (1080x1350) for maximum real estate
  • Aesthetic: Dark/moody for Black Rose, warm/golden for Signature, red dramatic for Love Hurts
  • Captions: 150-300 words, hook in first line (before "...more"), CTA at end
  • Hashtags: 15-20 per post in first comment (not in caption)
  • Posting time: 11am-1pm or 7-9pm PST

Reels:

  • Duration: 15-30 seconds (algorithm favors short)
  • Hook: First 1.5 seconds must stop the scroll
  • Captions: Burned into video (70% of viewers watch without sound)
  • Trending audio: Check Reels tab weekly for trending sounds
  • CTA: "Link in bio" or "Comment DROP for early access"

Carousels:

  • 5-7 slides optimal

Rule: Each platform gets a native adaptation. Never cross-post identical content.


Anti-Patterns

  • DO NOT post the same thing on every platform — adapt per platform
  • DO NOT use excessive hashtags in captions (put them in first comment on IG)
  • DO NOT post product shots without context — every image needs a story or styling angle
  • DO NOT ignore comments and DMs — engagement drives reach
  • DO NOT chase every trend — only adapt trends that fit SkyyRose's aesthetic
  • DO NOT use stock music or generic Canva templates — the brand is premium
  • DO NOT post without burned-in captions on video — 70% of views are muted
  • DO NOT go dark for more than 2 days — consistency builds audience trust

Recovery

  • Running out of content ideas: Return to the 5 pillars. Each pillar generates infinite variations.
  • Low engagement on a post: Check the hook. If the first line/1.5 seconds doesn't stop the scroll, the content doesn't matter.
  • Trending sound doesn't fit brand: Skip it. Forcing a trend damages authenticity.
  • No UGC to repost: Proactively DM 5 customers who recently purchased and ask them to tag you.
  • Pinterest not getting traction: Focus on keyword-rich descriptions and consistent daily pinning. Pinterest is a long game (3-6 months to see results).
